ContourGlobal is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Assistant to support the maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems at its Kibuye operations.

This role focuses on ensuring safe and efficient plant performance by reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support inspection, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment (transformers, motors, generators, control panels)

• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities

• Help diagnose electrical faults and report issues

• Participate in plant shutdowns, repairs, and upgrades

• Assist in installation, wiring, and commissioning

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports

• Ensure proper handling and calibration of tools

• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work environment

• Collaborate with teams to plan maintenance activities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  (Diploma accepted with relevant experience)

• At least 3 years of experience

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards

• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics

• Experience with diagnostic tools and maintenance software

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Fluency in English (French is an advantage)
